Mexican Coffee

A spicy, rich and delicate coffee drink.


Ground dark coffee
1 tsp of cinnamon
¼ tsp of nutmeg
25 cl milk
50 g ground dark chocolate
10 cl BESO
30 cl whipping cream
3 cl BESO
1 tsp vanilla
Ground cinnamon

  1. Mix ground dark coffee with 1 tsp of cinnamon and ¼ tsp of nutmeg, before brewing.
  2. Heat 25 cl milk, 50 g ground dark chocolate and 10 cl BESO in a saucepan until the chocolate has dissolved.
  3. Meanwhile, place 30 cl whipping cream, 3 cl BESO and 1 tsp vanilla into medium bowl; beat with electric mixer at high speed until soft peaks form.
  4. Pour the chocolate-milk mixture into the spicy coffee.
  5. Pour coffee into individual coffee cups; top with dollop of whipped cream. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
